WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025

Awarded the Medallion for Excellence (4th Place Overall) at WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025, representing Indonesia in the Graphic Design Technology category.

The competition gathered 13 of the best competitors from 8 ASEAN countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, Laos, and Indonesia. Across three days of competition, I completed comprehensive design projects under six-hour time constraints each day, simulating high-pressure, industry-level workflows that demanded creativity, speed, and technical precision.

Competition Breakdown:
  • Day 1, 6 Hours: Branding, Poster, and Motion Design.
    Created a complete visual identity system, an integrated poster campaign, and a motion graphic that conveyed brand storytelling with clarity and visual impact.
  • Day 2, 6 Hours: Editorial, Magazine, and Interactive Design.
    Designed a 24-page magazine layout and editorial spread, then adapted it into an interactive PDF (UI/UX prototype) to demonstrate hierarchy, consistency, and digital experience design skills.
  • Day 3, 6 Hours: Packaging, Label, and Eco-Friendly Display.
    Developed a sustainable packaging system, including label design and product display with attention to structure, functionality, and environmental awareness.

Gold Medal (1st Position for Graphic Design Technology)

National Selection for WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025

Achieved 1st Place in the Graphic Design Technology category, organized by the Ministry of Manpower of The Republic of Indonesia.

The rigorous, two-day competition was structured into four distinct 3-hour modules, testing a wide range of multidisciplinary design skills.

Competition Breakdown:
  • Day 1, Module 1, 3 Hours: Concept Development (Mind Map, Mood Board, Logo, Stylescape)
  • Day 1, Module 2, 3 Hours: Campaign Assets (Poster Ad, Digital Ads, E-Ticket, Motion Graphic)
  • Day 2, Module 3, 3 Hours: Editorial & Mockups (Book Cover, Interior Spread, Notebook, Van, Tote Bag)
  • Day 2, Module 4, 3 Hours: UI/UX Design (Lo-Fi & Hi-Fi Website, Desktop & Mobile Banners)
